What a 4-yr old looks like sledding!

We had a blast! The main sledding area was closed due to too much ice, "sled at your own risk." No one could even get into the road as it was completely iced over, so we chose to do side of the road sledding, there are several areas that are perfect for the little guys. The Caupilin spot has awesome smaller slopes for people like me (and the kids), and one hellatious tall one. If you're ever in NM in the winter and like sledding (or skiiing), it's only an hour away and very inexpensive.

Christopher did great at the sledding, and it worked better this year for all three of us to have our own sleds so we didn't have to take turns with him. He'd get to the bottom last year after going down by himself and then we'd have to keep walking up and down to bring his sled because it was too big and the hill was too tall for him to manage on his own. The place we found yesterday was small enough he could manage on his own perfectly and he had several choices of starting places and slopes!
