First day of Kindergarten!

We all survived!

His alarm clock went off at 6:30 am, and then he quickly joined us for some cuddling.

Got dressed and ready for his first day at school, and off we went to the bus stop. Of course, it was not clearly marked. And, since the bus dept. was not at open house, we didn't know where it would stop, or really anything else. It would be there "sometime between 7 and 7:30 am", it got there at 7:15.

Chris waited patiently, if a little on the serious side. He is usually bouncing around, talking up a storm. This morning he was contemplative, excited, but more watchful than boisterous. He waited the 15 minutes, gave kisses and boarded the bus.

And so it begins...
Have fun in school, baby, it's the beginning of the next 19 or so years of formal education for you. We will do our part to make sure you enjoy the adventure!

He came home on the right bus! And he had a great day, he said, very excited to tell about all the fun things that happened!
