St. Joseph Doing His Work

Our dear friends Denise & Steve have done us the favor of "burying" a statue of St. Joseph under a large rock in the front yard of the NM home. According to tradition, if you bury the statue facing the house, it will sell faster and the transaction will go smoothly.

We meant to do this before leaving NM, but it didn't work out so well. Now here it is 4 months later...so St. Joseph is working his juju on the beautiful house and property.

In addition, the entire inside of the house has just been painted, including the ceilings (which we did not do ourselves), the new baseboards all match up. According to our realtor, Suzanne, it looks like new again! The "sea-foam" green carpets that were in all 3 bedrooms have been replaced with a generic mid-grade non-remarkable bland color, which should please every realtor who has been in the house lately.

So, here's throwing out all concerns and restrictions and holdings on this house, so that a family may find what they are looking for and become the new owners of what was once our sanctuary....

It's a good day!
