Recipe: Rum Balls

Rum Balls

Ingredients:

3 cups vanilla wafers, crushed = one 12 oz box
1 1/2 cups nuts, finely chopped
3 tbsp corn syrup
3/4 cup rum
confectioners sugar

Directions:

Mix together crushed wafers, nuts, corn syrup and rum. Roll into balls and coat with confectioners sugar. Refrigerate up to 3 weeks in an airtight container.

Yields: approx 5 doz rum balls
Warning: they get more "drunken" as they age
